Overview

How the approval process works

A private pool involves excavation, structure, drainage, electrical safety and connection to services, so it needs approval. In master developer communities the developer NOC is required first, followed by the permit from the regulating authority.

Landscaping that changes levels, adds structures such as pergolas or boundary walls, or affects drainage may also need approval. We confirm the requirement for your design.

Projects we handle

  • Private swimming pools and jacuzzis
  • Pergolas, gazebos and shades
  • Boundary walls and hardscape
  • Outdoor kitchens and decks

Our scope

What we do

  • Landlord, master developer and authority submissions, made through appropriately registered professionals where required
  • Responses to authority comments and resubmissions

Every authority has its own checklist and it changes from time to time. We send you the exact list for your project after the first review.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How close to the boundary can a pool be built?

Setbacks depend on the community guidelines and the authority regulations. We check this before design so the pool is approvable.
