Renovation and Refurbishment Approvals
Refurbishing an apartment, villa, office or whole building? We tell you clearly what needs approval, prepare the drawings and handle the landlord, developer and authority approvals.
- Authority ready drawings prepared by our engineers
- Submissions, comments and follow up handled for you
- Through to permit, NOC or completion certificate

How the approval process works
Not every renovation needs an authority permit. Like for like finishes usually do not. Changes to structure, layout affecting fire safety, MEP systems, facades or use usually do, along with landlord or developer consent.
For apartments, the building management or owners association approval is normally required first. For buildings, a building modification permit may be needed from the regulating authority. We define the route at the start so you do not spend on approvals you do not need.

What to know before you start
Apartment renovations
Apartment works such as kitchen and bathroom remodelling, flooring and partition changes start with building management or owners association approval. When the works affect structure, services or fire safety, an authority approval is also needed. We prepare the drawings and the NOC applications for both.
